Work Day 1:

We held our first weekly meeting this morning, in which we delegated tasks pertaining to some projects that we felt had some priority. I will be working on a community resources document, a letter writing template, the art show, and the Fayetteville garden planters this week.

Jeanie's dad gave us some design advice for the layout of the garden at OMNI, and we are in the process of awaiting approval from the building committee before we begin. I believe we should make that a priority due to the growing seasons of plants, and the value of this garden as a community education project.

We gathered dirt, bamboo, and a tiller from Jeanie's farm. Thanks to Jeanie, Andrea, Michelle, and Tai Chi for all the work they did today!

I'll be at the OMNI center tomorrow morning to work on the planter. The goal is to have one finished by early Wednesday so we can send pictures of it to Sam at the library so he an get an idea of what it will look like.
